Hi guys, just let me introduce to you my series: idiomatic expressions. Yes, you know, everyday you use some basic and stupid words. My mission? I’ll try to explain and analyze origins or them real sens (with a lot of scientific and philosophic aspects!). Today, a difficult task. Animals. Yeah. Excited. But not all creatures: only insects. Stressssss. So, the first one: “as busy as a bee”. Yellow and black, this little thing is adorable. With his small legs, Maya and her friends are harvesting all the day some honey. Mhhh, delicious. But seriously, busy? Without this activity, they die. Then, can we talk about my aunt Susan who pretend she’s as busy as a bee when she run all the day between the sofa and the kitchen? NO. AND SUSAN CAN’T ENTER IN A HIVE. Absurd. Let’s talk about the second: “wouldn’t hurt a fly”. Typically a fly is an insect flying from poo to poo. And you’re agree to leave this on your house ? Noooo, everybody can hurt violently a fly, believe it. Besides, we are “as mad as a hornet” and I’m okay with this because this is literally the devil himself uh.
